Thorsby Swedish Festival 5K

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Swedish Festival 5K route will take you on a single loop through the beautiful rolling hills of Thorsby.  The race will start and end at the intersection of Franlkin St and Alabama Ave right by beautiful Robert Wood Park where the Swedish Festival will take place.

 The start of the course will take you over a quick incline then basically be downhill for 0.6 miles going West on Franklin St then the rolling hills start as you take a Left turn onto Tuscaloosa Rd for 0.7 miles then Left onto County Rd 216 for 0.3 miles then left onto County Rd 74 for 0.5 miles and finally a Left onto Alabama Ave for a relatively flat run to the finish.

All registrants will recieve the custom 2015 5K Viking Run dry-fit shirt and the

Thorsby Swedish Festival Multi-Purpose "Hoo Rag" Headwrap.

Race registration table will open at 7am at the Starting Line.  Parking is available at Thorsby High School.

Race will start at 8am

Race Winners and Awards will be given at the Swedish Festival Grand Stand during the Swedish Festival.
