Dacono Dash & Doggie Dash

• Dacono Dash & Doggie Dash:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Dacono Dash & Doggie Dash is a 5K race through the City of Dacono where runners with dogs are welcome!  Runners without a 4-legged companion start at the front.  Please only bring dogs that are vaccinated, licensed and leashed.  The City of Dacono will strictly enforce their leash law.  Strollers are also welcome.  Pre-registration includes t-shirt, race number, swag bag and snacks after the race.  Stick around and browse our pet expo at the end of the race!

Our course begins at the west side of Clem Dufour Park in beautiful Dacono, Colorado.  Runners will then proceed through the streets of Dacono to Veteran's Park where they will run the length of Old Railroad Trail.  Turning onto Grandview Avenue, runners have a brief length of running on a dirt road before returning to pavement.  At Glen Creighton, runners will turn north and finish at the east side of Clem Dufour Park.

From I-25 exit 235, go east on CO-52/Mineral Road toward Dacono/Fort Lupton.  South (right) on Colorado Blvd to 2nd St.  East (left) on 2nd St to Forest Ave.  South (right) on Forest Ave to Clem Dufour Park.

Prizes are awarded to the top 2 finishers in 13 categories broken down by age and gender.
