ENTRY FEES
General public $25 day of race, $20 pre-race day, with valid military ID $20 race day.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
7:00 AM -  Registration opens
7:45 AM - Military tribute by the Honor Guard
8:00 AM - Race begins at, rain or shine

PACKET PICK UP AND REGISTRATION
Pick up your race package Friday September 25 at the VFW Port Orange Post at 5830 S Williamson Blvd., Port Orange, FL from 3-6 PM or the morning of the race.

AWARDS

Awards for the overall male and female winner, as well as the top finisher in each age group.

AMENITIES
Stay after the race for a health fair, music, prizes. T-shirts to the first 300 registrations, goody bags to the first 500.

PARKING
Parking available at the library or parks & recreation lot.

RACE TIMING AND SCORING
The race will be professionally scored and timed at the start and finish by RaceSmith, Inc.  The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number.  Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered.  Results will be posted at the race and then online immediately following the race at www.RaceSmith.com

COURSE
5K USATF Certified Course # FL13050EBM

The purpose of the USATF course certification program is to produce road race courses of accurately measured distances. For any road running performance to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked, it must be run on a USATF-certified course. In addition, the certification program is very important to the average road racer, as well as those of exceptional speed. Most runners like to compare performances run on different courses, and such comparisons are difficult if course distances are not reliable. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.
