Corn Maze 5K Runs

Just in time for Fall season celebrations and activities, the inaugural Corn Maze 5K Runs will take place on Saturday, October 24th just North of Fort Collins.

Registration is open now, with three unique 5K runs in one day, in one location.  All Adult and Junior Participants receive a free performance event shirt, with their number bibs.  All event pre-registration is available online at CornMaze5K.net.  Children age 8 and under are free.

A 5K Run kicks off with waves beginning at 9:00 am.  SRA Photos will provide complimentary photos of 5K Run participants online running in the corn.  The Family 5K Run/Walk starts at 12:00 pm, and includes a free kids maze, petting zoo, and more "Ag life" themed activities and displays.  The dusk Run Scared 5K opens at 5:30 pm, with participants guided by their complimentary glow lights.  Flashlights are recommended.  A few features in the maze may or may not have harvest haunt ghouls lurking in the corn.

$1 per runner will be donated to the Food Bank of Larimer County, to assist those in need.  Runners are encouraged to bring a canned food item, with Food Bank volunteers collecting donations on-site.  Additionally, runners can make donations online during registration or at the event.

Ag life and information displays, food trucks, music, and games will surround the start/finish area.  Arrive early or hang around late to learn about farm life and partake in the activities.

Volunteers for shifts to assist with water, course monitors, and parking are accepted, and will get a free entry to run, event shirt, and meal.  If you have a group interested, check out CornMaze5K.net for information on how you can help.

from south of Fort Collins - I-25 north to Exit 271 (Mountain Vista), then West 1 mile to Giddins / CR 9.  4.5 Miles North to Sipes Farms.

from north of Fort Collins - I-25 south to Ext 278 (Wellington), then West 1 mile - stay on main street / hwy 1.  South 2 miles after the curve.
