Discovery Bay Freeze Fest!

Experience New Years Day in Discovery Bay with a Polar Bear Plunge, Fun Run, Bloody Mary's & Breakfast at Freeze Fest 2016, at the Discovery Bay Marina! Do it all or do just one. Participate or be a spectator! Do it in costume or in your run shirt! All ages welcome (plungers must be swimmers age 6 and up).

Freeze Fest begins and ends at the Boardwalk Grill, where the "plunge" will also take place in front of spectators. Two runs are available, a 5k along the levy past the lighthouse, or a 3.5k to the Lighthouse and back. Finish with applause and a plunge in the harbor by the Boardwalk Grill, where your breakfast will be waiting!
