2010 Vineyard Scoops 5K Tour of Edgartown:

  • The Marthas Vineyard Scoops 5K is a great race for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
  • The original Scoops course toured the streets of downtown Edgartown, which made for an interesting, but hectic, race.
  • In 1998 the race was moved to Katama, where the flat, rural landscape gives runners a chance to turn a personal best for the summer.
    • Course Info

  • The race starts at the The Farm Institute at Katama Farm, a beautiful and expansive working farm.
  • From there runners continue along the edge of Katama Bay, catch a glimpse of South Beach and the Atlantic Ocean and finish back at the Farm Institute, amidst its cattle and silos.
  • There is a half-kilometer fun run for kids around the property and we have numerous age group awards.

  • The Scoops 5K is a fun event for the whole family.
