DISTANCE: Half Marathon 13.1 or 2-person half marathon relay 6.5 mile along beach bike paths
PACKET PICK UP: Saturday, July 16, Clamshell Amphitheater, Rainbow Harbor, LB 3:00 to 5:00pm.

PARKING: Aquarium or Pike Parking Structure – $15 all day

BEACH BABE HALF MARATHON COURSE
Beautiful Ladies Run
Run the Beach Babe Half Marathon in a mellow setting with other thoughtful and amazing women. Course is essentially out and back, so you can enjoy the views with few turns on the course. You never leave the view of the ocean, with a carefree vibe the entire way.
Route Description
The course begins in Shoreline Park near the lighthouse and goes over the pedestrian footpath to Queen Mary park, then returns to Shoreline Park and back through the chute to Rainbow Harbor.. The Half Marathon will continue around Rainbow Harbor and out on the jetty for an amazing view of the Queen Mary, then along the new running path along the beach and back to Shoreline for the finish line party! Three water bottle refill stations are on the run course – near mile 5.5, 8.5, and 11.5.
Relay Option
Not ready for a half marathon? The 2-person relay option is a great way to enjoy the run and ride. Get this – runners will have the option to ride a bike back to the finish line (about 6.55 miles) instead of drive to the relay exchange point. How fun is that? Select the Relay option during online registration.

Directions & Parking
From Los Angeles/Ventura County Area to Long Beach:
Take I-5 to 710 toward Long Beach
Follow Signs to Aquarium
Exit Shoreline Drive
Use Parking structure at Aquarium or the Pike on Aquarium Way.
Ride bike to start by leaving the parking structure on Aquarium Way, and take Golden Sands around the back of the aquarium to Shoreline Aquatic Park (look for the lighthouse!). Parking is $15 all day.
From Orange County/San Diego County to Long Beach:
Take I-5 to 405 toward Long Beach to 710
Follow Signs to Aquarium
Exit Shoreline Drive
Use Parking structure at Aquarium or the Pike on Aquarium Way.
Ride bike to start by leaving the parking structure on Aquarium Way, and take Golden Sands around the back of the aquarium to Shoreline Aquatic Park (look for the lighthouse!). Parking is $15 all day.
