Hello Girls, Guys and Ghouls!

Get ready to add something new and spooky to your race repertoire!  Grayton Brewing and Amavida Coffee present the 1st Annual Ohana Institute Scare Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Dash in breathtaking Rosemary Beach, Florida, on Saturday, October 22, 2016.    Registration is now open, but there are a limited number of entry spots, so sign up before it is too late.  Register here at Ohana Scare Run or go to www.ohanainstitute.org. and click the Scare Run link! 

Your participation in this event not only marks your commitment to health, creativity and fun, but directly supports the innovative educational platform that Ohana Institute models.  Proceeds from this event go directly toward the academic, social and emotional needs of students.  As students create, design and implement a path to success, their needs are met through the guidance of a loving and hardworking staff.    From international cultural and service travel to independent, project-based learning, multiple electives, the Ohana Records Rock on the Road tour and everything in between, there are countless opportunities for students to find their passion and "experience the different" through individualized learning.  Your contributions make this all possible!

Event details and schedule

Costumes are recommended to make this a memorable experience - running wear with a Halloween flair!  Bring your ID and pick up your race packet at Amavida Coffee on October 21st between 2 - 5 PM. The 5K begins at the Rosemary Beach St. Augustine Green at 7am. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the race. The 1 mile Fun Dash begins at 8:30 AM.  Awards will be presented at 9:15 in the St. Augustine Green Amphitheater.  There will be prizes for:

Overall Male/Female (5K)

Overall Male/Female (Mile)

Age Groups Male/Female: 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-54, 55+ (5K)

Age Groups Male/Female: 0-5, 6-9, 10-12 (Mile)

Best Costume :  Group, 0-5, 6-12, 13-18, 19+
