This is the 13th Annual Endless Summer 10K & 5K Runs, which take place in Beautiful Anastasia State Park. The Races are Presented by Don's Friends (www.DonsFriend.com) and hosted by Friends of Anastasia and Anastasia State Park.  2015 was our Biggest in the history of the event.  This event has become VERY Popular.  We SOLD OUT EARLY for both races in 2014 and 2105.    Only 250 Runners will be allowed for the 10K Cross Country 2015, and only 250 for the 5K Beach Run/Walk.

   Fiends of Anastasia's mission statement is "Friends gathered together to celebrate, protect and enhance the natural beauty in Anastasia State Park".

About the Runs:

  NEW Start and Finish Locations for both Runs.

The 5K BEACH RUN is mostly Ocean Front

The 5K is mostly on hard packed sand at low tide. This run finishes with a run over a long wood boardwalk and joining the 10K runners on payment to the finish near the race pavilion.   This is in Anastasia State Park which has 4 miles of pristine, beautiful sandy beach.  No homes, buildings or developents.  You will run aprox. 1.1 miles North, turn and run back South.  The race begins at 7:30 am, so you will enjoy the beautiful Ocean Front Sun Rise..........Wow !  

 10K (6.2 mile) Cross Country Run

This 10K (6.2 mile) run through Anastasia State Park's beach, hammock, and saltmarsh takes you through some of St. Johns County's most beautiful terrain. The race begins with a beach loop, traces pavement, dirt roads, and soil through the east nature trail and hammock loop. Runners will hit the pavement and trail again as they head to the marsh loop. The last leg of the run shoots the runners back down the main park road to the Finish Line.  This is a cross country run and participants must be fit to run or walk on soft sand, uneven terrain, mixed pavement types, and hills with sun exposure, heat, and humidity, etc.
