Swamp Stomp - 15th Annual 5 & 10K

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 10K:- Run 6.2 Miles

This 5 & 10 K cross-country course runs through scenic Nature Park woods and wetlands; and has mild changes in elevation. Located on 1100 acres and just minutes from downtown Augusta, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park offers race participants Augusta's most scenice course and the chance to see a variety of wildlife such as Blue Heron, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Otter and so much more in their natural setting. Runners can experience the thrill of hearing Kingfisher, the chorus of a thousand Tree Frogs, or delight in the myriad of Dragonflies.

Event details and schedule

Where: Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, 1858 Lock & Dam Rd, Augusta GA 30906. Race will begin by the Pfizer Picnic Pavillion, located behind the silos in the visitor's parking area.

Check-in & Race Schedule: Check-in closes at 7:45AM. 10K race starts at 8:00AM, 5K race starts at 8:15AM. 

Course: The 5 & 10 K cross-country course runs through scenic Nature Park woods wetlands and wetlands, and has mild changes in elevation. Dry condition course through woods, wet condition course around wetlands on gravel covered berms. Water stations on route. No strollers or pets please. 

Post race: Refreshments and snacks at finish area provided.

Packet pick-up: Packet pick up for all runners is on race day -  April 30, 7:00AM to 7:45AM at the Phinizy Swamp Nature Park Pfizer Picnic Pavillion.
