Event details and schedule

SAVE OUR STATION.

Fire Station 19 is Atlanta’s oldest continuously operating station. Located in the heart of the historic Virginia Highland neighborhood, the station has been a neighborhood landmark for more than 90 years. Based on its age, station 19 was on the City of Atlanta's replacement list for 2016. Thanks to grassroots support of Morningside Mile and other local efforts, the station is no longer on the chopping block, but renovations cannot begin until we meet the fundraising goal. We’re on the home stretch! Please help us in our effort to raise funds to repair the firehouse and keep it in service. You can help save this historic resource that is central to our safety and community life by registering to run the Morningside Mile and encouraging others to join you. 100% of race profits will be donated to the station 19 renovation fund!
