Onward Shay! Boise Marathon is a flat, fast, beautiful Boston/Olympic qualifying course with a noon start time.  Entertainment all along the course will motivate you to a personal best! The Wizard of Oz theme will delight you!

The Onward Shay! Boise Marathon is in honor of Shay Hirsch who lost her eleven-year battle to Multiple Myeloma in February 2014.  The event will inspire all who attend, just as Shay's great spirit inspired all who knew and loved her.  We invite you to share your own "Onward" story on our website, www.onwardshay.com

Legends in the running world such as Gabrielle Anderson, Joan Benoit, Amby Burfoot, George Hirsch, Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter, Nick Symmonds, David Willey and Bart Yasso  will attend this unique event!

All proceeds benefit the Women's and Children's Alliance (WCA.)
