TIME LIMIT
The 2016 Hoosier Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk has a time limit of 3.5 hours (16 minute per mile pace). The 16 minute per mile time limit begins when the last participant crosses the start line and will be enforced! The course closes on a rolling schedule. This means that half marathon runners must be able to sustain a pace of 16 minutes per mile in order to finish ahead of the course closure. If participants choose to continue running after the course closes, they do so at their own risk and will be required to move off the streets. Please be aware that our permit dictates we reopen street closures to vehicular traffic at specific times. No times are recorded after 11:30am. Finisher medals will be awarded only to those finishing within the specified time limit. The Race Director reserves the right to remove any participant from the course.
