Duane Klug Memorial 5K Run/Walk

The Duane Klug Memorial 5K, formerly The Trojan Trot, is in honor of our soccer coach who passed away in October of 2013. Coach Klug retired from the United States Army as a Major, was the founder of the youth soccer leagues in the Radcliff and Vine Grove area, and was an assistant coach for the North Hardin Boys Soccer Team for 18 years. With close to 200 runners last year, this event has become one of Hardin Counties most popular running events. Overall male and female winners and age group awards will presented. Pre-registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt. Pre-registration ends on May 20. You can still register on Active.com after May 20 but you will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. Online registration will end on June 3 at 6pm.

Event details and schedule

Packet pickup will be at Running Soles on Ring Rd. in Elizabethtown on Friday June 3 from 4-7. Parking will be in the parking lot behind North Hardin High School. Pre-registered packet pickup will be in that parking lot. Same day registration will be at the soccer field from 7-7:45 only. The race will begin promptly at 8am on an out and back course. The race is chip timed be sure to wear your bib on the front of your clothes and uncovered.
