Sign up now for the 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Run on the River 5k at Sam Houston Park. This race is a fundraiser for Ainsley's Angels Southwest Louisiana, sponsored by South Beauregard High School Golden Knights Basketball team. If you have not been to an Ainsley's Angels run, then you are truly missing a fun, blessed day that will inspire you.

 This race sales out quickly due to the rules of capacity set by the park . Only 150 lucky runners will get in, so register quickly. See event details for more info.

Sign up now for the 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Run on the River 5k at Sam Houston Park. This race is a fundraiser for Ainsley's Angels Southwest Louisiana, sponsored by South Beauregard High School Golden Knights Basketball team. If you have not been to an Ainsley's Angels run, then you are truly missing a fun, blessed day that will inspire you.

This race has a max limit set by the park rules of 150 runners, so this race is a very unique opportunity to to get to race in this beautiful park. The race has hit capacity the last 2 years, so I urge you to sign up quickly, because once we hit 150 runners, the race will be closed to registering. All runners that pre-register will get a tshirt. There is a possibiltiy that we could have race day sign up if the race would not fill up, but we are not expecting there to be any room this year. 

The race will start at 8:30 am. Packet pick-up will start at 7:45 am. The race will be chipped time. 

There may be an entry fee to the park of two dollars that you will pay on entry. After entering the park, proceed to the Main pavilion . The entire race will be inside the park. There are many opportunities to watch the race at different points of the race. So visitors will be able to cheer their runners at many points.

We will have awards based on age groups with prizes and recognition at the end of the race. These categories will be set closer to race day based on the registrants ages.  

The race will be at its lowest cost and increase in price as we approach race day, so save money and sign up now, but also remember this is for a great cause.
