2nd Annual Spring into Summer 5K to Benefit LARS

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile:- Run 1 Mile

Welcome the summer sun and support LARS' work to end hunger and homelessness in the Laurel community. Enjoy great food, music, and post-race activities after challenging yourself to a 5K run or 1 mile walk throughout Old Towne Laurel.

If you have participated in LARS' Turkey Trot, this is a great opportunity to beat your time from November (and practice for next year's trot)!

Event details and schedule

Race day registration & check-in starts at 7:00AM at McCullough Field. Early check-in/packet pick up will be held at LARS on Friday, 5/20/16 (time TBA).

Warm-up begins at 7:40AM and the 5K run kicks off at 8:00AM. The 1 Mile Family Fun Walk begins at 8:05AM. Post-race activities, food, and prizes will follow at McCullough Field.

The 5K course takes runners through Historic Laurel and along the Patuxent River path. The 1 Mile Walk takes walkers through the neighborhoods of Old Towne Laurel.

Street parking is plentiful alongside the field and across Montgomery Street at the Laurel Boys & Girls Club.
