The 10th annual CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) 5K and C25K Run takes place on a scenic, point-to-point course in late spring. We start in Macon on the east end of Short Street turning north on Saline-Macon Road to West (Left) on Hack Road, to South (left) on Ford Road to East (left) to finish on Short Street The run / walk will take place on dirt roads open to traffic. There are three hills and a few curves as the course crosses a creek and a stream. This event is Endorsed by the Michigan Council of Physical Fitness. 25% of funds raised go to the Tecumseh Service Club (TSC). The TSC provides rent, utilities and food to those at or below poverty level in Clinton, Britton, Raisin Twp. Tecumseh, Tipton.

C25K = Couch to 5 kilimeter (3.1 mile) run.

Cost: $15.00 for participants over 17 years old ($20 post marked or emailed after May 12, 2015).
Cost of $10.00 ($15.00 post marked or emailed after May 12, 2015) for: an additional family member or students age 17 & under.
Additional cost of $10.00 if you want a CROP Walk tee shirt additional cost for XXL and XXXL sizes.
Registration & packet pick up opens 8:00 am at the “White Church” near the corner in Macon. Macon United Methodist Church, 11964 Macon Hwy. Clinton, MI 49236
This run will be on dirt roads open to traffic with challenging hills.
