1st Annual Stafford's Top of Michigan Marathon ~ Results

Stafford's Top of Michigan Community Marathon- A USATF CERTIFIED COURSE  to benefit the Top of Michigan Trails Council and the Petoskey High School Cross Country and Track teams.

The race will be run on a beautiful course made of asphalt starting in Charlevoix, then Petoskey and finishing in Harbor Springs. The trail is an excellent venue for runners stepping up to a marathon or seasoned runners looking for a fast time. The trail is relatively flat and perfect for getting a qualifying time for other races. The trail has spectacular views of the Little Traverse Bay.  

The relay team part of the race is a non-competitive fun activity for corporations and other organizations to enter.  The cost to enter is $300 and you can have up to 26 participants on your team.  You can exchange anywhere on the course that does not create a safety risk to the runners or anyone else.  If you want your team times the first runner and last runner must have the chip at the start and finish line.  Teams are responsible for timing each leg of the relay.

Race starts at 7:30

Course is a beautiful point to point asphalt trail, starting in Charlevoix and finishing in Harbor Springs

Shuttle are available to the start in the morning and afternoon

Parking in dowtown Charlevoix is available

Weather is variable in late May so be prepared for anything

Course closure is 6 hours or at 1:30
