Trivium Racing The Mother of All Beer Miles

The Mother of All Beer Miles will be back for a second year!  Our mothers were just as mad as yours were that we were drinking and running instead of celebrating them last year on Mother’s Day so we moved it one week later!  They will be so proud of us for our mature decisions!  Come on out and see if you can top last years 6:58.19 top time!

Here is how the event works: Each athlete will start by drinking (sipping, chugging, inhaling….your choice) a can of beer graciously provided by Atwater Brewery!! Then each athlete will complete a 400 meter lap on the track.  Repeat this task (hopefully) four times! We will get your split times for each lap and each beer ( you know, so you can see where you need to train harder for next year.)

Take a break from the ultra competitive and enjoy a fun afternoon cheering on each other as we take part in this timeless (and hopeless) event.

(this is a 21 year and older event.  ID’s are required when picking up your packet and when you show up for the event.  We will be checking ID’s of ALL participants!)

Schedule of Events

Day of Packet Pickup: 12:00 PM – 30 minutes before your wave starts.  You must have ID to pickup your packet and beer. No ID – no race!!!

Race Start: We will have multiple waves of runners to make sure everyone has room on the track.  (Your wave start time will be determined by your seed time)  Each race will have a meeting 10 minutes before their wave starts.  Be at the track at the time.  If you would prefer to save your Atwater beer for celebration and want to use your own beer please bring it to the meeting.  All beer must be in cans and cannot be opened ahead of time.
