Description
The City of Madison Heights is hosting the eighth annual "Run for the Health of It" 5K/Walk. This race is for runners and walkers of all ages, skills and abilities. The race will start and end at the Nature Center at Friendship Woods and cross the Red Oaks Golf Course. 5K Run awards will go to the top three finishers in the both the male and female categories. The 5K Run/Walk will start at 8:00 am. This Event will be held regardless of weather. No Refunds or Transfers. Shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Awards will take place at approximately 9:15 am. Awards are given to registered runners - must be present to win. WAIVER for the 2016 Run For The Health Of It Run/Walk. Please accept my entry into the 2016 Run For the Health of It 5K/walk. I hereby state I have conditioned myself to participate in the event I have chosen. I, for myself, my executors, administrators and assignees, do hereby release and discharge the officials of the Run For the Health of It, sponsors, volunteers, City of Madison Heights and Oakland County from damages or injuries incurred by my participation in the event. I also authorize Madison Heights officials to utilize my photo and videotape of my participation in the Run For the Health of It run for any and all promotional purposes. By signing below, I hereby certify that I have read all terms and conditions of this release and do intend to be legally bound thereby.
