Description
Epic Races, Michigan's premier endurance and multi-sport race event company, proudly presents Run 3.14 Pi, Michigan's Original Pi Run, presented by Achatz Handmade Pie Co., and the race that celebrates this circle-related number...and the circular edible it brings to mind. At 3:14 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2016, participants will run or walk a 3.14-mile loop (as fans of Pi, we like to think of the course as a circle) at picturesque Hudson Mills MetroPark. And, since this is all about Pi, we'll kick off the event with a special Pi(e) Wave: a pie-eating division in which competitors start their run or walk once their pie plate is empty. Don't want to hit the trail on a full stomach? You can still commemorate Pi Day with our optional Pie in the Face at the finish line.
Male and Female Age Divisions: 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. All finishers will receive the sweetest finisher's medal ever. Special Awards will also be presented for 1st Overall Male/Female, Overall Male/Female Masters (40+), and the top 5 finishers in each age division.
