Spread the Purple is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit hosting a fundraiser to raise donations for Homeowner's Heating Oil Scholarships to be used with the New Jersey Citizen Action Oil Group's annual membership program, with its Affiliates. This scholarship program was developed as a way to combat the raising heating oil prices hitting a record level high this year, even as natural gas prices plunge. Spread The Purple would be honored to gain support from any runners and specters for this run. So, come on out and "Run/Walk For Warmth," while given back to the community!

FAST FINISHES: has been timing and managing races since 1994. We are the timing leader in Sullivan and Orange Counties NY and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre PA. They have professional timers based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida and Oregon. FastFinishes.net timed more than 145 races in 2011, including running, cycling, triathlon, duathlon and cross country events.
With Chip Timing Systems for race timing, their goal is to provide even better service to runners and Race Directors.
Their passion is to help race events become a success for the athletes and the Race Director. They work consecutively with the Race Director in order to fulfill he/she vision for the event.
START: On park roadway just W of ballfield #3. Even with unnumbered light pole which is 137 SW of crosswalk. The following marks are given relative to running direction.
MILE 1: On bike path on E side of park. Even with front door to house #142 overlook terrace, which is on right.
MILE 2: On bike path on W side of park. 80' past storm drain in path at intersection with Chester Rd., which is on right.
We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday, September 3, 2016! There will be Music; Snacks; Food; and Refreshments for Pre-Registered Participants, who registers through this Racer Website before Saturday, September 3, 2016.
Prices for Paid Registered Specters will include the following: FREE Refreshments and Eat FREE Food Prepared by The Gentlemen Gourmet Catering Group! Everyone who attends will have a chance to part take in our Silent Auction!
Any Specters that attend the day of the Race can enter for FREE, however, will be responsible for their own purchase of Food & Refreshments.
