Nicholas "Nick" Seth Capehart played basketball, track and was a Bonham High School Student Council member. He was a member of Cheer Athletics in Plano, Texas as a part of the 2015-2016 Jungle Cats Cheer Competition Team. Cheer and tumbling were his passion. His dream and goal in life were to cheer at the college level and go into the medical field.  Nick's smile and personality were known to light up a room; he loved life and everyone in it and never met a stranger.

#DI4N (Do It For Nick) is a way of remembering Nick and all the lives he touched during his short time on Earth.  All monies raised will benefit the Nicholas Capehart Cheer Scholarship Memorial Fund.  This fund was established so that his legacy can live in others who love to cheer and tumble as much as he did.  

Event details and schedule

We expect a high participation in this event, so please try to pick up your packet before race day to avoid delays.  Packet pickup details will be shared as race day approaches.  Every participant will receive a #DI4N race shirt, plus goodie bag!

The race will begin at 8:00 am, so plan to arrive early in order to secure your parking spot and make it to the start line on time. The awards ceremony will start around 9:15, with awards given to the top 3 overall finishers in male and female, as well as top male and female finishers in each age group.

Be sure to wear something red (Nick's favorite color) on race day!
