2016 Sock it to Diabetes Walk

Help us "Sock it to Diabetes" by wearing your craziest socks to the Waco Community Walk at Brazos Park East on May 7, 2016! All proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association - Central Texas.

Bring your family, form a team, invite your co-workers and neighbors, and join us for a morning of excercise and healthy living activities! We are excited to support the Waco community with diabetes information, health screenings, kid activities, and a fun morning to support those living with (or at risk for developing) diabetes! 

Every 19 seconds, someone is diagnosed with diabetes. Help us STOP DIABETES! 

Prizes will be given to craziest socks, largest team, top fundraisers, and top fundraising teams!

Registration is FREE! We hope to see you on May 7! 

Event details and schedule

Be sure to register each person in your family who will be attending the Walk. All kids who finish the fun run will receive a finishers ribbon! 

May 7, 2016:

7:00 am - Registration opens. Packet & T-shirt pick up begins.

8:00 am - Kids Fun Run

8:15 am - Zumba warm-up

8:30 am - Family-Friendly Walk

9:30 am - Awards Ceremony
