Description

The Mighty Keagen Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides holiday meals, gifts, and smiles to children and families at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. Mighty Keagen was a brave little boy who battled Neuroblastoma for 7 months before earning his angel wings at 2 years, 5 months old. All proceeds from the fun run/walk will benefit the Mighty Keagen Foundation and help fund events at the children's hospital.

The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon races are all held on the 400 State Trail leaving from the Reedsburg trail headquarters and heading towards La Valle before turning around and heading back. The trail is a firm gravel trail that is easy on the joints and a flat and fast surface.

Finisher's medals will be awarded to all half marathon finishers along with medals for the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Only in its 3rd year, the Mighty Keagen run is a small-town run with beautiful scenery and friendly volunteers. A great way to kick-off your Spring racing season and support a fantastic cause.
