Course Info

The lake is small so the water will be clean, no waves, and about 73 degrees.  Hilly but short bike route, closed run course on a good dirt road.

Directions

Lake Tejas is a 45 minute drive southeast of Lufkin, 2 hours from Houston, and 1 hour from Beaumont.

  • From Hwy 59 in Corrigan, Texas, take 287 East to Chester.
  • Turn left onto 1745.
  • Go 14 miles to Colmesneil.
  • Turn onto 256 East.
  • Go past Hwy 69 one mile.
  • Lake Tejas is on Hwy 256 on the left side of the road coming out of Colmesneil.
