Join us in Washington, DC for the seventh annual International Race to Stop the Silence, and help stop child sexual abuse (CSA). CSA is a silent epidemic that critically affects children, adult survivors, and society. You can be a part of the solution. Thank you for helping to Stop the Silence.
5K Fundraising Information1All 5K participants are requested to raise additional funds through donations to help Stop the Silence. When you register, a fundraising page will automatically be created for you, as well as a place to keep track of off-line donations. Ask friends, family & colleagues to securely contribute to your effort. The suggested amount to raise is $250 or more. PamTeam Captains2TEAM CAPTAINS - CLICK HERE TO CREATE YOUR TEAMChronoTrack Timing and Scoring3Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score both races. The system uses a computer "tag" which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The D-tag is disposable. Overall awards for the 8K will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.Picking Up for Your Friends and Family4We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for them.
