- We're back!! After such a phenomenal turnout our first three years, we are so excited to bring you our 4th annual Ants in your Pants 5k & kids k benefiting the Pflugerville Elementary Pfire Ant students and staff! Our race course from 2015 will be ours again, and you're going to love it -- a paved path that winds along Gilleland Creek amongst the trees, provides great shade, and there's no big hills - yay! We're ready for your fast feet to trod upon it! We are planning even bigger festivities for the whole family to enjoy at the start/finish line, conveniently located at Bohl's Park. It's going to be awesome -- you don't want to miss out! We also have the option for you to choose to receive a tech (dri-fit) tee or a cotton t-shirt for your race shirt. Participants may race, run or walk. They will receive an awesome t-shirt and a great race bag full of goodies at packet pick up. The race will be chip timed, so relax and go at your own pace. Enjoy the support from our staff and students along the course, as well as music, post-race food and tons of fun for everyone. Each child running the Kids k (12 and under) will received a finishers medal. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards and prizes for the 5k will be given for the male and female overall and in the following age groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. All 5k runners present may enter into a raffle drawing for cool prizes. Entry into the drawing is complimentary. All winners names will be drawn during the awards ceremony at 9:30am.All proceeds from this race will directly benefit Pflugerville Elementary students and staff through academic support and outside improvements.
