2016Fiesta 5k Run:

Fiesta 5k will take place on May 14, 2016. The 5k begins at 9am and 1k at 8:30. The race starts and ends at Schurz Elementary School. Individuals can register online for the 5k for $25. Children 12 and under can register for the 1k or 5k for $15. Limited Time Discount: 5 participants can register for $100. All registrations increase $5 on April 30th. Entertainment after the race includes live mariachi music and dance performances.

The 5k course will begin and end at Schurz Elementary School in Watertown, Wisconsin. The start/finish line will be on Neenah St.,near the school's front door. Leave the school heading west on Neenah Street and turn left on Boomer Street (Google maps incorrectly shows that Neenah does not extend to Boomer, but Gooogle is not current. Neenah street does go through to Boomer). Continue on Boomer Street for almost one mile. Just past the UPS Customer Center, turn left on Humboldt and then left on Clark Street. Take Clark Street to 12th Street, passing by Eaton Corporation and turn right on 12th Street. Turn left on Mary Street, right on 10th, left on Carol Street and left on Randolph Street. Take a right to return to Mary Street and continue straight until Dakota Street. Take a right onto Dakota street, a left onto William Street and a left onto Neenah Street for a .3 mile sprint to the finish. The run has a total ascent of 78 feet and has amaximum elevation of 862 ft. The maximum height gain is 52 feet.
