SCFE Warrior Run

• Warrior Run 10K:- Run 6.2 Miles
• Warrior Run 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• Warrior Run Kids Fun Run:- Run 1 Mile

The Spouses’ Club of Fort Eustis (SCFE) will host the third annual 5K and 10K Warrior Run run on 16 April 2016.  Net proceeds from the race will benefit local organizations and SCFE Scholarship and Welfare endeavors. 

This is a USATF sanctioned event and certified course. VA 14014RT-5K map and VA14007RT-10K map.   The surface is 99% flat asphalt roadways.  The race will take you past the historic Matthew Jones House, along the beautiful James River with a view of the Ghost Fleet near Fort Crawford and then past a site of an early American brick factory located on Mulberry Island.

Joint Base Langley Eustis, Fort Eustis is conveniently located between Newport News and historical Williamsburg.  Take I-64 to Fort Eustis Blvd, exit 250A and proceed to main gate (approx 1 mile).  Stay to your right and turn into visitor area to obtain temporary pass to enter post.

*Packet pickup is located at the SCFE clubhouse located on Calhoun ST-Fort Eustis- April 15th, 2016 from 11:00 AM -2:00 PM and 4:00-6:00 PM.  Enter the main gate, follow Washington to traffic circle taking first right turn (Lee Blvd) to Calhoun (first right off Lee) Clubhouse is white building in front of parking lot.  Signage is visible

*Packets will be available for pick up the day of event.  Packets will not be mailed to participants.

*Participants must present their registration confirmation email, along with a photo ID, in order to receive their participation bag. 

 *If a participant, is unable to attend, someone else can pick up their packet.  The person picking up on someone's behalf, must present, that person's confirmation email, and present his/her own photo ID. 

 Race Day Schedule:

Registration opens: 0630

Registration closes: 0745

Fun Run: 0730

5K: 0800

10K Run: 0900

Awards: immediately following the end of each race catergory.

Awards for 5K and 10K: Men and Women

Overall 1st and 2nd place male and female winners of 5K and 10K.

Overall Master's awarded to oldest competitor in 5 and 10 K

Participants must be registered by March 22, 2016 to guarentee race t-shirt and medal. 

Results:

Finish line results will be provided by Colonial Sports of Williamsburg, Va.

Shirts:

T-Shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners by March 22, 2016. Additional shirts will be available for purchase $10 and based on availability.
