Cowbell Uncorked : OFF ROAD

Cowbell Uncorked: OFF ROAD, a BaseCamp relay, has taken the traditional trail relay and thrown it for a loop…actually THREE loops!  Teams of five (or NEW in 2016, Teams of two) will conquer 62 miles (100K), in three short loops: a 10K, a 5K and another 5K.  All loops start, finish and exchange at the BaseCamp in Klondike Park in Augusta, Missouri.

Like the traditional point to point relay, team members still take turns completing their portion of the course, but when not running you will be celebrating the event with everyone else in the BaseCamp. In short, we have taken the fun of a team relay race and put our signature Cowbell twist on it.  Creating a race experience that will be remembered!

Cowbell Uncorked: OFF ROAD will have you running loops…actually three loops: a 10K, a 5K and another 5K!
Loop1: Norton 10K takes runners out on a scenic out and back to downtown Augusta, Missouri. Loop 2: Vignoles is 5K in Klondike Park.  Loop 3: Chardonel is the last 5K where runners will experience another part of the Katy Trail.

Just a heads up…rollerblades/inline skates, bikes, strollers/baby joggers, motorized vehicles and pets are prohibited during the race.  The use of an iPod, mp3 player, CD player or other audio/video device is discouraged but allowed.

Heading east on I-64/40 (Wentzville, MO): Travel east on I-64/40 to MO-Hwy 94 South. Take Hwy 94 west for about fourteen miles until you reach Augusta; then turn left into Klondike Park. Once your arrive, volunteers will show your team where to park.

Heading north on MO-Hwy 47 (Washington, MO): Travel north on MO-Hwy 47. Turn right on MO-Hwy 94 East.  Take Hwy 94 East for 11 miles; then turn right into Klondike Park. Once your arrive, volunteers will show your team where to park.

Heading south on MO-Hwy 47 (Columbia, MO): Travel south on MO-Hwy 47. Turn left on MO-Hwy 94 East. Take Hwy 94 East for 11 miles; then turn right into Klondike Park. Once your arrive, volunteers will show your team where to park.
