This year, one in five adults will experience a mental illness—and with early intervention, we can prevent the devastating effects. That's the mission and the reason for the Hope Network One in Five Marathon Relay.
The One in Five Marathon Relay brings runners of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels together. In teams of five, runners will complete a full marathon. The first four runners will complete a 5-mile loop, the last runner will represent the one in five facing the challenge of a mental illness by taking on a rougher, more challenging 6.2-mile route, representing the one in five. Proceeds from the event will support Hope Network and the services they provide to those looking to overcome the challenges of mental illness.
