2016 Race Course:The course starts on a very flat Valley street heading west for about a half mile.
Runners will take a right onto High Street.
Runners will have more than a half mile climb up High Street with the elevation increasing by 135 feet.
Once at the top, near mile one, runners will come down the back side of High Street and enjoy an elevation drop of 85 feet.
Runners will take a right onto South Frontage Road at about 1.5 miles.
At this point, runners will have a slight up hill for 1/4 of a mile (elevation increase of 20 feet) before turning right onto Ash Street.
A water stop will be located at this point.
Once on Ash Street runners will enjoy pancake flat course.
Mile two will be near the intersection of Ash Street and Greenwood Street. Runners will continue on Ash Street until they come to the intersection of Ash Street and Jackson Street.
Runners will take a right onto Jackson Street with a little over 3/4 of a mile to go.
The course will start an elevation drop of 70 feet over the next 3/4 of a mile.
Mile 3 will be at the intersection of Jackson Street and Valley Street.
The finish line will be near the starting, allowing runners to finish on a flat and straightaway.
