Hallie Bea is a sweet, active, 7 year old with a rare blood disease called Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA). Hallie's bone marrow fails to produce essential red blood cells and she is alive today because of steroids and blood transfusions. The only cure for DBA is a bone marrow transplant. With less than 800 children diagnosed with DBA, research is largely funded through fundraising by parents, family and friends. Come walk or run and help us raise money to support DBA research. Interested in joining the National Bone Marrow Registry? You can do that too! Before or after the 5K come visit the Delete Blood Cancer table for further information on how you too can be a HERO! We'll also have a silent auction and vendors.
Registration starts at 7:30am and the race starts at 9:00am.
Course starts and ends at the elementary school running through a neighborhood.
