Celebrate Life Survivors 5k Run

Mark your calendar! Saturday, May 14 is the third annual CELEBRATE LIFE SURVIVORS 5K RUN presented by Texas Oncology–Longview Cancer Center and benefiting the Texas Oncology Foundation, Inc.

WHAT:

• 5K run (chipped timed race)

• Survivors Celebration to show support for family and friends

• Local Business and Service Representatives to help educate our community

• Community Celebration- food, refreshments, and activities

WHEN:
 Saturday, May 14, 2015, 7-11 am

 Start and Finish at Texas Oncology-Longview Cancer Center

 Packet pick up at Texas Oncology-Longview Cancer Center, Friday, May 14 from 3-6 pm

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT: OUR GOAL IS $40,000 COME FOR THE RUN, STAY FOR THE FUN:

 Early bird 5K registration is $25 (before May 2)
 5K Registration after May 2 is $35
 Kids Registration is $15 (12 and under)

 Register by May 2 to guarantee an Event T-Shirt

JOIN OUR EFFORTS AND BE “ONE STEP CLOSER” TO REACHING OUR GOAL

 Organize a Run Team honoring a cancer survivor -Register 5 or more participants and receive a $5 discount per registration

 Volunteer – volunteers needed for the day of the event

 Help raise funds -become a sponsored runner and raise $100

Proceeds from this event will benefit cancer patients and survivorship programming in the Longview area. The main events will be a 5K run along with a family event highlighting and recognizing healthy survivorship. Proceeds from this event help cancer patients in the community with financial assistance.
