SATURDAY, APRIL 23, 2016 -  Thru HIGHLAND NEIGHBORHOOD

Benefitting MARY’S HOUSE PREGNANCY CARE CENTER

Mary's House is a pregnancy care center offering information and support to young women and men in unintended pregnancy situations in a peaceful and kind environment.  Free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds and free peer counseling are available at Mary's House. Volunteers facilitate resources already available in the Northwest Louisiana area to encourage the well being of the mother, father and baby.

DATE & START TIME:  Saturday, April 23rd.  The 5K race will begin at 8:00 a.m. at Mary’s House, 906 Margaret Place (across from Schumpert Hospital) thru Highland neighborhood.

REGISTRATION:  5K early registration is $20 thru March 31st and $25 thru April 22nd.  Race day registration is $30.  You may pay with a Credit Card ONLINE ONLY at www.sportspectrumusa.com or pay with cash, check or credit card at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana.

REGISTER EARLY!  No shirts guaranteed to late registrants.

T-SHIRTS & RACE PACKET PICK-UP:  Every pre-registered participant will receive an original “Mary’s House 5K” T-shirt.  Packet pick up will be at Sportspectrum, Thursday, April 21st from 12 pm – 6:30 pm and Friday, April 22nd from 10 am-5:30 pm.  You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site beginning at 7:00 a.m.

AWARDS:  Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a Gift Card and a medal

AGE GROUPS:  11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

SPECIAL NOTE:  Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only.  Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course.  This rule is an RRCA regulation!
