• Gator Gallop 5k Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

 
The 3rd annual Gator Gallop promises to be a great time for the whole family with a festive atmosphere on the Lower Common of Lake Quannapowitt.  

Serious runners compete on the flat course, chip-timed by RaceWire. While others complete the course at a more leisurely pace. The 5K begins at 9:30 AM.

In addition, a 1M Fun Run for children ages 10 and under begins at 9 AM.

Where: Lake Quannapowitt & the lower common, Wakefield, MA.

• The start line is at the intersection of Church Street and Main Street, on the lower common of Lake Quannapowitt (which features a bandstand/gazebo).

• Whether you’re coming from North or South: Take I-95 to Exit 39, North Avenue, toward Wakefield. Follow North Avenue for about one mile and take a left onto Church Street at the large intersection (you’ll see a baseball field). Follow Church Street for a third of a mile and you have arrived! You can either take a left into the town parking lot/Lake Avenue, or park on many of the streets nearby.
