Join us as we bring families and friends of those with Prader Willi Syndrome (PWS) together and  raise awareness and funds for further research. PWS is a rare complex genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism, cognitive function and behavior. Individuals with PWS have chronic feelings of insatiable hunger and a slowed metabolism that can lead to excessive eating and life-threatening obesity. PWS is estimated to effect 1 in every 15,000 individuals and to date there is no cure. We are planning on having a resource fair for the families, and police/fire department out there and activities for kids.
