Uptown 5 Miler

• 5 Mile Road Race:- Run 5 Miles

New Course—New Distance!! - 5 Miles!!!

Starts at the Uptown Shopping Center and Finishes a few blocks away at the

Beautiful  Norton Art Gallery. Shreveport’s only race through the gardens of the

R.W. Norton Art Gallery. A very challenging 5 miler.

Early Registration: Early registration is $20.00 thru March 31

$35.00 RACE DAY.

Packet Pick-up:  You can pick up your packet early at Sportspectrum beginning Thursday, May 5th from noon—7 p.m.

Friday, May 6th from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Race day at the race site (Uptown Shopping Center) starting at 7 a.m.

Race Packet:  First 600 Pre-registered participants will receive an Extreme 1/4 Zip Tek Jacket (a $45.00 value!)

Starting Time:  8:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the Uptown Shopping Center. This is a chip timed race so arrive early enough to pick up your timing chip.

Post Party:  Join us after the race to enjoy exciting entertainment, food, drinks.

Awards:  Overall winner & runner up male & female will receive the Coveted Derby Day Trophy & $150 & $50 (respectively).

Age Groups: 5K Male & Female, 1st & 2nd place: 19-under 20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70+.  

Special Note: Under RRCA regulations, absolutely no baby joggers, strollers, bikes, skate devices.
