Celebrating the Strength of our Nation and Community

The purpose of the American Muscle Event is to bring the tri-city community together for a family fun event celebrating the strength of our nation and community. Saginaw Valley State University is not only the event venue, but also an ever evolving establishment in the community that expands, enriches, and empowers the bright young minds of tomorrow. For decades, Mid-Michigan has been known for its vast contributions to the auto industry, and hard workers drive this community. And lest we forget the sacrifices the brave men and women of the armed forces continue to make to ensure the freedom of our country. From factory worker to small business owner, from student to soldier let us unite to honor our nation’s greatest asset of all: we the people.
This event will be fully funded through donations and sponsorships from local businesses, and all proceeds will be donated to Team Red, White & Blue and the Travis Mills Foundation equally. Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. And Travis Mills, a native of Vassar, MI, founded the Travis Mills Foundation, a nonprofit organization, formed to benefit and assist wounded and injured veterans and their families.

The Race will take place on campus trails of Saginaw Valley State University.
