Earth Fare welcomes runners for this fast and fun race at Asheville’s Carrier Park.  You know if Earth Fare is involved there will be good food and the prizes are some of the best around.

Registration

Registration is now open through Thursday, May 12 at 9:00 PM.

Race Cap:  The 5K is capped at 500 participants

$5 – January 15 through race day

Friday, May 13 – 4:00-7:00 PM – Earth Fare at Westgate
Saturday, May 14 – 7:00-8:30 AM – Carrier Park

Post-Race

Earth Fare will be providing food, drink and entertainment after the race in Carrier Park.

Awards

Prize purse of $200 to 1st place overall male/female, $100 for 2nd and $50 for 3rd and $50 for 1st Masters male/female. Age group winners will receive prizes from Earth Fare and its vendors in the following categories: 12&U, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80&O.

Timing

The race will utilize chip timing.  Chips must be worn on your shoe in order for you to receive a time.

Parking

Parking is tight at Carrier Park so we ask everyone car pool and allow plenty of time to get in to the park.

Course

The 2015 event will run in and around Carrier Park, on the French Broad River Greenway and its beautiful surroundings. This is one of the flattest areas in Asheville, so get ready for a speedy race!
