• Runway 5K to End Poverty:- Run 3.1 Miles

About This Activity

Join us again this year for a fun, unique 5k run!  Run 3.1 miles on Smoketown Airport's runway! Each loop around the runway is 1 mile.

All proceeds from this race will support Hope International. A non-profit Christian micro-finance organization.

A free breakfast will be provided for all racers and guests.  Breakfast starts at 7am and will run until the food is gone.

There will be eggs, bagels, fruit, pancakes, etc...
Come and enjoy some great tasting food before or after your race.

Awards:

Top overall 5k finishers (male and female) will receive a 1 hour vintage airplane ride coupon to use at a future date of their choosing, as well as the top male and female finishers in the following age groups:

6 and under, 7-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

Finisher medals will be given to all participants.

Amenities:

Short-sleeve performance T-shirts to all registrants who register by April 23 (sizes and availability not guaranteed to those registering after the 23rd). Water will be available at the halfway point of the 5k course.

Event details and schedule

EARLY REGISTRATION
$25 before April 23, 2016 with T-shirt

LATE REGISTRATION
$30 after April 23, 2016 (T-Shirts are not guaranteed)

Registration will be available the day of the event but it is recommended to pre-register.

Start time: 10 AM rain or shine.

All participants must be able to complete the race in 60 minutes.

VIRTUAL RACE OPTION:

We're excited to have you run with us wherever you're located. Register as a virtual participant and run from your door or gym, Hashtag your pictures with #runway5kendpoverty. Sign up as a virtual runner for $20.
