ONE MILE FUN RUN TO BEGIN AT 8:00AM AND 5K TO BEGIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER

Course Description: 1 Mile “GATOR” Fun Run = Kid friendly, fun obstacle style course starting on the track and continuing on the campus of Captain Shreve. The fast and flat 5K Race starts and finishes on the track of Lee Hedges Stadium and runs thru the local neighborhood.

Registration: It is preferred that you register early online at sportspectrumusa.com or by dropping off or completing your race application at Sportspectrum – 6970 Fern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105, or at Captain Shreve High School, - 6115 East Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71105. All early registrations will receive a “Heart of Gold Run” T shirt. Register early as we cannot guaranty shirts to late registrants.

Entry Fee: $20 for early registration through March 25, 2016, $25 for late registration from March 26-31st, $30 on race day.

Race Designation: Please note which race you are participating in. _____1 Mile “Gator” Fun Run

_____5k Heart of Gold Run               _____ Both Runs (note the entry fee & late registration fee will apply to each run)

Race Packet Pick Up: Packets will be available for pick up only at Sportspectrum.  You may pick up your packet early at Sportspectrum on Thurs., March 31st from 12:00pm to 7:00pm and Friday, April 1st from 10:00am to 5:30pm.  Race day registration and packet pick-up is Saturday, April 2nd morning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 am at Lee Hedges Stadium.

Awards: All 1 Mile “Gator” Fun Run participants will receive a Gator Run Medallion.

5k-Overall Male & Female finishers in the 5k race will receive a grand prize. Additionally each age group top male and female finishers will receive prizes. Age Groups= 12 & under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 +
