• Knoxville Midnight 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The American Cancer Society & Relay For Life proudly present the Knoxville Midnight 5K Run & Walk. 

Come join the fun and late night excitement of the Knoxville Midnight 5K Run & Walk! The timed race will start and end in World's Fair Park with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society & their continual fight against cancer. 

When & Where: Sign-in for this race will begin at 10PM on Friday, June 17th with the race actually occuring at the stroke of Midnight on the 18th. The event will be held in conjunction with the Annual Relay For Life of Metro Knoxville Celebration that will start at 6PM earlier in the evening in World;s Fair Park. We highly encourage participants to come early and enjoy in all activities the night entails including Live Entertainment. 

Cost & Cause: Th registration cost is $25 until March 31st. From April 1st until April 30th the race cost is $35. On May 1st the price of the race will increase to $40 until the day of the race. Day of price is $45. Please note, these rates do not inlcude the "add-on" on Glow Paint. Glow paint can be purchased to enhance your Midnight Run experience for an additional $5. To add on the $5, please make an additional donation when signing up in the donation box section. All money raised will go to the American Cancer Society. 

Registration for the Knoxville Midnight 5K 1 of 3 ways: Online, Mail-In or Race Night

Online Registration: Register online for the race at runsignup.com

Mail-In Registration: Please mail to Knoxville Midnight 5K, 871 N Weisgarber Rd, Knoxville, TN 37909. All mail-in registration must be recieved no later than Friday, June 3rd 2016. 

Race Night Registration: Runners and walkers can register the evening of from 10:00-11:30pm at the race registration tent in World's Fair Park. 

Race Results will be available including live results on runsignup.com. 

Race Packets: Anyone registered before June 7th can pick-up their race packet on Tuesday, June 14th from 8:30am-6:30PM at the American Cancer Society Office at 871 N Weisgarber Rd, 37909. The race packet will include a t-shirt, purple LED wristband & glow paint, for those who have made the additional $5 purchase. For those unable to pick-up their race packet on the 14th, you will recieve you packet the night of at the registration booth. No packets will be mailed. Late/day of participants will recieve race packets as supplies last. For those who are purchasing the glow paint, we highly encourage you to pick-up your packet on the 14th for best results in activating your paint. There will be limited light stations at sign-up to activate you glow paint.  

Awards: The top 3 male and female participants will receive overall awards. The overall winners will not be eligible for the classification awards given to age groups, which will be given to the top 2 in each group. 

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available after the race. 

Race Day Etiquette: Due to our insurance policy, no rollerblades, strollers, bicycles, or dogs will be allowed in the race. We highly encourage all participants to register early and wear the FREE t-shirt and LED Purple Band. In addition, please be fesitve when preparing for this event and consider purchasing the Glow Body/Face Paint. This event is scheudled to take place at Midnight and we wan to see your true Night Owl Spirit as we light up the streets of Knoxville on foot, to help raise funds and awareness to end cancer. 

This event supports the American Cancer Society 's quest to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people get well and stay well, by finding cures and by fighting back against cancer. In the Knoxville area, the American Cancer Society serves thousands od patients through support groups, help with transportation to and from treatment, and the latest in cancer information.
