Animal House Shelter's Dash for the Dogs 2016

• 1 mile family fun walk:- Walk 1 Mile

Animal House Shelter is holding our 6th annual Dash for the Dogs 5k run and family fun walk on Sunday May 22nd at Citizens Park ( 511 Lake Zurich Rd- Jewel Tea Pavilion) in Barrington, IL. The goal of this event is to raise necessary funds for Animal House Shelter to cover the cost of our animal’s medical expenses, general needs and overall care. The 5k run/walk starts at 9am in the morning (registration begins at 7am) followed by a 1 mile walk at 10:30am at which dogs are welcome.

Race course is certified and timed with results posted on our website. Catered food will be provided for all runners and walkers. Top 3 male and female finishers overall and in each age group will receive awards. Age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-60, 60 & over.

All pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt. Day of race registered participants will receive a T-shirt while supplies last.

Dogs are welcome to participate in the run or walk as long as they are leashed at all times, current on rabies & distemper vaccines, and have EXCELLENT temperament with other dogs & children. Strollers are welcome in the run and walk.
