Dodge House Dash 5k

• Dodge House Dash:- Run 3.1 Miles

The General's Ladies of the Historic General Dodge House will host their inaugural "Dodge House Dash", a 5K timed Run/Walk Race in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  The race will begin at the Council Bluffs K-Mart on the east side of the parking lot.  It will continue along the established trail system bordering Railroad Avenue, College Road, Valley View Drive, turning at McPherson and returning back to K-Mart.  A childrens 100-yd dash will also be available for those 10 and under.  Registration that morning is from 8 to 8:45 am.  Runners will begin the race at 9 am; Walkers will begin at 9:15 am; and the 100-yd Dash for children will begin at 10am.  A DJ will be on-site to help motivate all the participants and by-standers.  Cost to participate is $25 and includes a t-shirt (the race entry form must be postmarked on or before April 6 to guarantee a t-shirt).  Entries received after that will cost $30 and a t-shirt is not guaranteed.  Participants may register at the Dodge House by mailing or delivering their entry form to 605 Third Street, Council Bluffs, IA  51503 or they can register through www.runsignup.com (the registrant will be responsible for a $2.50 processing fee if done online).  Co-sponsor of this event is Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home.
