2016 New Hampshire Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K ~ Results

New Hampshire's best kept secret for 23 years... is the New Hampshire Marathon!  Come experience the natural beauty of NH in a small, friendly and community oriented event.  We have events for every age, ability and goals.  Full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K health walk & kids marathon event that ends with its final one mile on race day.

The mission of the NH Marathon is to promote a world class running event and to support area child-centered organizations.  The event features a course around Newfound Lake during our most spectacular season, peak foliage.  For the past few years, the NH Marathon has attracted runners from 45 states & 10 countries!  The NH Marathon has been recognized in Runners World multiple times as one of the best small town races in the country!

​​​​All races start at 9 a.m. Marathon and 10K racers start on Lake Street in front of the Newfound Memorial Middle School. The course proceeds north on Rte 3A. Health walkers start at Traffic Lights. Both 10K racers and health walkers turn at the appropriately marked turns and return to the finish at Kelley Park. See Map.

The marathon runners continue on 3A north to North Shore Road (8.3 mi) and turn left toward and through the village of Hebron and continue straight on to the turnaround (13+ miles). After retracing the route back to Hebron, the course turns south along the west shore of Newfound Lake, rejoining Rt 3A (24+ miles) at which point it retraces the route back to the finish line turning left on to Union St., right on to North Main and right to the finish at Kelley Park.

** Please note if you are running the half marathon, the bus leaves at 8am SHARP to bring runners to start

Registration and race start/finish located at 155 North Main St. in Bristol, NH  03222.  Half marathoners will be bussed from this location to their remote start.
