Course Info

A beautiful scenic loop course (3.1 miles) on paved trails through the Boone County Arboretum.

Directions

From Interstate 75:

Take KY 18, Exit 181, and head west toward Burlington.
Travel approximately 3 miles.
Exit on right, then turn left overtop of KY 18 and onto Camp Ernst Road.
Go 4.5 miles. Boone County Arboretum at Central Park is on the left.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Mail-in entries must be postmarked by April 12. Online registration open until 6:00 p.m. on April 21 at www.RegistrationSpot.com


PACKET PICK-UP & REGISTRATION: Pick up your race number and packet on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Tri-State Running Company, 148 Barnwood Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017 (off Turkeyfoot Road) from 12:00 Noon - 7 p.m.

INTERESTED IN FREE ENTRY? Work our Dig in the Dirt Volunteer Day on Tuesday, April 5, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and receive a free entry (no shirt). Entry form will be completed at conclusion of volunteering.


RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Opens at 7:30 a.m. at the Boone County Arboretum, 9190 Camp Ernst Road, Union KY.


**Please, no strollers or dogs in race**

KIDS FUN RUN: Kids 7/under, immediately following completion of 5K.


5K RUN CATEGORIES: Male and Female:
15/under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70/over.


5K WALKERS: Male & Female: 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over. Walkers must walk the entire distance. Any participant who plans on running/jogging through any part of the course must register as a runner.


AWARDS: Top 2 overall males and females, runners and walkers. Top 15% of each division, runners and walkers, based on pre-registration. Awards provided by Tri-State Running Company. A tree seedling will be presented to all finishers in celebration of Arbor Day.


FOLLOWING THE RACE: Refreshments, awards, participant door prizes.
