Description

The 2016 Colleen's BA 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is a tribute to Colleen Mitchel who was born with biliary atresia (BA), the most serious liver disease in infancy, and died at 19 while awaiting a liver transplant. Proceeds support BA research at Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center in Baltimore, Maryland and organ donation awareness.

Course Info

Run/walk begins at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Beach Drive and heads East for 1.55 miles along Beach Drive trail and back

Other Info

Colleen's BA 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is a family friendly, dog friendly community fund raiser. Strollers, wheelchairs, and dogs on a leash are welcome. Discount available for students, active military, and families. Event held rain or shine! 5K prizes awarded!
