Description
The seventh and final race in the Vail Recreation District's (VRD) La Sportiva Vail Mountain Trail Running Series, the EverGold 11k and 5k presented byHaute Route Gear & Apparel will begin and end at the Vail Golf Club. The 11k race kicks off at 10am, while 5k runners begin at 10:10 a.m. Runners traverse along the Vail Trail to Golden Peak, up the popular Berry Picker & newly-added Onza Alley trails to Lion Down, & back to Golden Peak before finishing back on the Vail Trail for a distance just over seven miles. Runners experience an average grade of 10 percent and gain nearly 1,700 feet in elevation throughout the race. Those participating in the 5k will also run on the Vail Trail to Golden Peak before turning around on the Vail Trail back to the Vail Golf Club.

1. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AVAILABLE FOR RACERS OR STAFF AT THE VAIL GOLF CLUB! THERE IS ALSO NO STREET-SIDE PARKING ALONG VAIL VALLEY DRIVE! Parking is available at the Vail Village Parking Structure ONLY.
2.The free shuttle, labeled "Special" will arrive on the top deck of the Structure near the Vail Information Center.
4. Shuttle service will run from 8:15am-10am for the start, then again from 11am-1:30pm after the race & awards ceremony.
